Beautiful book portraying Elvis in the year 1969, returning to the stage and a live audience for the first time since 1961 (if you don't count the NBC-TV special from 1968). The book opens with an introduction by Bruce Blanke about the impact Elvis had on Las Vegas, and a few memories. Fun story to read. After this you see Elvis taking around on the building grounds of the International Hotel, the place he should conquer in less than 6 months. After this it's Showtime, starting of with a few images of the decorated entrance of the Hilton (photo's from 1972 or so), and Elvis entering the stage at the Las Vegas Hilton. Elvis looks very good in his black karate-gi. The photo's really show a lot of action. The book ends with photo's from the press-conference at the Hilton, and some backstage snap-shots, and as an extra JAT concludes the book with a picture of Elvis on stage giving a karate demonstration at a Tom Jones show, September 1974.
