E L V I S   ' 7 4   -   E N T E R   T H E   D R A G O N   - Joseph A. Tunzi / Photobook / Published 1996

This is one of my favorite Tunzi books. All the photo's in the book are from the September/October 1974 tour, the time Elvis was very troubled, and the photo on the cover shows a very tired Elvis. Elvis did gain a lot of weight compared to the august '74 Vegas season, and opened in Maryland with a very sad show. Most of the photograph's in this book however were taken in South Bend, Indiana, October 1, where Elvis gave a top-notch show. The used photo's in the  book are very sharp, and printed on glossy paper. Too bad they didn't put some color photograph's in the book, but the one on the back is one of the finest I have ever seen.  Further you can read some newspaper reviews and some information about photographer Zenon Bidzinski, who made the majority of the published photo's. A foreword is done by Duke Bardwell, and he does still pay a lot of respect to the king, which is very nice taking the way Elvis treated Duke Bardwell on stage now and then in consideration.
