The tigerman is back, showing of with a show which was energetic, powerfull, impressive and very entertaining. The King is back, claming the throne he had left for Hollywood, finding no resistance at all conquering not only Las Vegas, but became the biggest star in showbussines  after returning to Las Vegas in 1969. Elvis drives the band from highlight to highlight, giving his all, twice a day. If you like to hear a rockin' Elvis this is the one cd to have. If you have ever asked yourself the question why Elvis' decline set in so fast, imagine to perform a likewise show like this twice a day for a month.! It must have been exhausting. Maybe not so devastating  the first time, but Elvis returned to Las Vegas only 5 months after this first engagement, and gave another one in august 1970 and so on. It must have took a lot of energy from the man. It is a pitty the sound breaks up in the latter part of Suspicious Minds. But lets be gratefull for this release the way it is, and enjoy it.
